International Currency & Bullion Reserve (“ICBR”) is committed to complying with applicable anti-money-laundering (“AML”) and know-your-customer (“KYC”) laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, and rules administered by FinCEN and the IRS. This summary explains the information we may request and why.
Identity Verification
We may request identifying information from clients, including full legal name, address, date of birth, government-issued identification, and taxpayer identification number. We may verify this information through third-party identity-verification services.
Source of Funds
For certain transactions we may request documentation of the source of funds, including copies of bank statements, wire records, or other supporting materials, to ensure funds originate from lawful sources.
Recordkeeping and Reporting
We maintain transaction and identification records as required by law. Certain cash transactions and suspicious activity are subject to mandatory federal reporting on forms such as IRS Form 8300, and information may be shared with regulators or law-enforcement authorities as required by law.
Prohibited Transactions
ICBR does not conduct business with individuals or entities on U.S. sanctions lists, and we reserve the right to decline, delay, or unwind any transaction that appears inconsistent with applicable law or with reasonable AML controls.
Employee Training
ICBR personnel receive periodic training on AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and suspicious-activity recognition consistent with the size and nature of our business.
Confidentiality
Information collected for AML and KYC purposes is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law and is used only for compliance and service-delivery purposes.
